Would this Batmobile, be an appropriate toy for a child to play with?

It hasn't actually been released yet, but will be at the end of June. I had wanted to get this for my nephew who is an absolute maniac about anything to do with Batman. But i was just wondering, judging by the product details, is it more of a toy, or just something to collect and never actually play with it? Because I am looking for something like this that my nephew can actually play with. Any answers or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough call. Personally, it looks more like a collectible. All of my trains have been used but, for the most part, I'm the one using them anymore.
