Would this Home Cinema Kit be ok with a Sony PS3 with an optical cable?

I'm currently using an optical cable on my old Home Cinema Kit, and wondering if this one would be able to use it as well?

   Yes, it would be OK with optical and coaxial cable.

The Sony system supports both coax and optical digital sound. It won't sound as good as a separate component system nor will it be as versatile but it is easy. If sound quality is not that important to you this is a good way to go.
