ok so i am doing the life style change that says on the first 5 days you need to only drink water....no food....so basically fasting for 5 days....( will power is no object im on my third day and going strong)

after the 5 days u become a raw vegan which means u can only eat raw, dried, frozen foods...nothing cooked..no milk...no meat

also every thing i eat has to be organically grown from earth and be 100% pure .

do u think this will improve my health drastically ...btw its not to bad but i just need to loose like 20 lb......im comited to this ..

  2. I think you may be trolling (raw vegan tends to attract the trolls in droves) but I will answer anyway........

    5 days water fasting is fine. However, it would be better and healthier to fast for 5 days on fresh organic vegetable & fruit juice.

    Raw vegans don’t tend to eat frozen foods unless absolutely necessary, they tend to eat fresh produce.

    Organic & biodynamic goods are better because they contain up to 40% more nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

    The soil from commercial crops is depleted of nutrients and commercial crops are heavily sprayed with a cocktail of toxic chemicals.

    It will only improve your health drastically if you stick with it long term. If you do it for a week or two and expect amazing results, you will be sorely disappointed.

    Yes, it is a good way to lose weight quickly but keep in mind if you then stop eating raw and go back to your old ways, the weight will eventually return. To keep the weight off, you need to stick with raw or drastically improve your daily diet.

    Conditions like eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne and arthritis etc…should disappear within 6 – 12 months of giving up meat and dairy. Conditions like obesity and diabetics can be reversed by following raw.

    The first 3 months are hard (no matter how committed you are) but once cravings have passed and you have detoxed, being raw becomes easy.

  3. You shouldn't fast for 5 days, you can faint. Skipping meals is really bad for you. I am not sure if this is true, but there was someone who said that when you don't eat, you gain even more weight than when you eat. Just become vegan and that's it. Exercise a lot and be healthy. DON'T TAKE THE RISK OF FASTING FOR 5 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I'd say that it would be healthier to eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, and exercise.

    Fasting AKA starving is never a good idea.

    There is nothing wrong with a raw food diet, but the starving thing sounds dangerous.  Your body will go into starvation mode and you will not burn much fat.  

    You could lose 20 lbs safetly in 6 weeks with proper diet and a lot of activity.  Have patience with weight loss.  You didn't put the 20 lbs on in 2 weeks and you shouldn't expect to take it off that fast either.

    Good luck whatever you do and take care of yourself.  I didn't write this to make fun of you or anything.  I just would rather see people losing weight the healthy way.  Not only will they suffer less, they will also have a better chance of keeping the weight off :)

  5. Make sure you let someone close you know what you're doing so if they hear a loud thump they can come check on you... I'm sure you'll lose 20 pounds after this program, but as soon as you eat anything other than a raw carrot stick it will come right back. You need to follow a balanced diet (whether vegetarian or not) and exercise.

    This sounds like a bad plan to me - just my opinion though

  6. Well, sure, eat raw, organic food - but you need some protein. If you wanna stick to natural, try some nuts. I dont really see the need for the water fast.

  7. if your not used to fasting for a long period of time, then do not attempt it! It can cause serious harm to you and the healthy lifestyle you are trying to achieve will be put down the drain. But eating only organic vegan food is the best way to stay healthy and fit.
