It should bang...Depends on what you are comparing it to.  It will definitely hit.  No doubt about it.  Just not any of my favorite equipment.  But it works.  Dont get me wrong.  I mean no disrespect.  Just not my favorite gear.  I prefer Fi Car Audio, DD Audio, and such.

Re Audio's good too...just a bit more expensive.

You might check into the Phoenix Gold RSD 1200.1.  Similar power and specs to the DEI but IMO is better.

I prefer the FI Q or FI BL to your L5.  Depends on the type of music you listen to etc.

A buddy of mine has similar stuff and it hits like crazy.... though he's pushing 1000 RMS at 2 ohms on a home made box with specs from a local dealer that really knows his stuff. If its going in a SUV I can testify that its gonna rattle the nearest Home Depot. Have fun and wear ear plugs you will need them.
