the measurments are 5'5" tall, about 130 pounds, 35-26-35-1/2, with a 34c cup? I am using christina applegate (as she was in the early seasons of married with children) as the model. I am collecting female uniforms from the cold war and I am looking for the correct sizes for a female who is a small.

  1. Given a range from 5 foot tall to 6 foot tall, 5'5" would be average height.  Normal bra sizes range from 32 to 38 and cup sizes a to d.  Normal weights vary by body build.  At 130 with her heigth and measurements, this woman would have good muscle strength and would not be underweight.

She is therefore of average size.  Note this is by American sizes and is strictly within what is a normal range, with the consideration that there are sizes outside the normal range as well.  This does not mean she would not wear a size small in clothing with the range of small, medium and large.

  2. She has the same measurements as me, but I am taller and I weigh less.  I wear size -0- so she probably wore what would now be size -2-.  As people get larger, the sizes get smaller.

  3. Yes, that's probably about right.  Those are a bit bigger than my measurements (I am only five foot though) and a small is too big for me.

But you have to remember clothing sizes vary and are often not simply "small, medium, large".  But if it is just a TShirt then that is probably about right.

  4. I would not consider that small.  My daughter is 5'5' and 115.  She wears a size 6 - maybe 4 in some things.  Her height isn't really small - medium and medium sizes.

  5. That would be average, not small Private First Class.

  6. Agreed. I think 120lbs may be a bit more accurate based on the height, 5'5". As far as the cup size, that's fair, but in the end you can be hitting or missing all over with that one.
