  1. ok

  2. Sounds like a GREAT DEAL!  Make sure though, that you read through the contract carefully for any surcharge, hidden costs, etc. before making a commitment.  If there is one or two area of service that is important to you, make sure you understand all the details to avoid last minute charges on "upgrades".

  3. That sounds pretty good. It saves money too, especially depending on what all you were going to buy and have to pay for. Decorations can add up big time. So can all of the services.  It would save alot of time and stress on you and who ever would be helping you with all of the set up, etc..I say go for it. I did not see anything listed about alchol. Which is still okay. If you want to have a toast, you can buy a bottle or 2 of champane or wine for the bridal party and parents to toast with. You can also look into the option of buying a keg if you wanted beer.

  4. Honestly I think ur doing pretty good. I had the same amount of people at my wedding and reception, I did everything my self(decorations, cook,  etc.) and my reception was in my parents backyard and I spent just about the same amount. Lucky for you, you won't be aggravated like me.lol. Good Luck!

  5. I am a professional wedding coordinator and I would advise you that this is a great deal, based on all the information that we know.  You are receiving a lot of extras (ice sculpture, wedding coordinator, DJ lighting package, grooms cake) which its in its self could cost thousands of extra dollars.  Be aware that you are only receiving 3 hours of DJ service though, and to add the extra 2 hours to cover the 5 hours that you have the room for will be extra.  Other than that, it looks great.

Good Luck on your big day!

  6. As previous poster mentioned, it depends on the caliber of the venue and location/area. A high class resort like the one I work at charges starting 30 dollars per person for a buffet reception with appetizers only and that goes up with other items added, desserts, wedding cake, hot items etc. If it's a simpler venue with what it looks like a fruit/veg/cheese platter type spread for guests (hot/buffet extra $375) then that per person charge would be lower. However that's just for the catering. Phone around local vendors  like DJs, cake decorators, limousine, wedding coordinators, etc, and you will find that you more than likely can't come close to putting it together for 5100. That does not even take into account putting a price on your time in organizing everything yourselves to save money (i.e. the stress involved).

Barring it's not a 'shabby' venue I would say this is a fantastic deal-however definitely you want to see the fine print on what constitutes as extra charges, because they always do exist.

    Good luck and congrats!

  7. sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

  8. does that include alcohol?  Remember you will still have to pay for that, dress, photographer, videographer, honeymoon, flowers for the bouquets, rehearsal dinner, and whatever else I didnt think of off the top of my head.  It doesnt sound like a bad deal....but it depends on where it is.  If its at a not so fancy venue, it may not be so great...if its in the middle of the city, it may be a good deal.

  9. Sounds like a good deal to me, and saves you the time and evergy running around.

  10. This actually sounds amazing. However, three hours of a dance wouldn't be long enough for any wedding I've ever gone to!

Also, go with the buffet full meal, it's still a good price.

Throw in a full open bar, and it's all there for you!

    Where is this place???

  11. Sounds like a bargain!
