  1. I have heard from a friends sista that japanese is difficult(her reading teacher told her class one day that every fridays they would all get a spanish lesson) she said japanese is harder than simple spanish. japanese is ok i suppose if ya wanna go to japan someday. but French is also good for american's cuz Europe, africa and i think australia speak it, Spanish is good for like USA and Mexico

    take latin~Italian~Japanese~french!

have you ever heard of Muzzy? its for kids, but still...it works! great actually

  2. japanese has a whole different aphalabet,so keep that in mind.pronouncing stuff will be tough.if you can take french, take it because that language is getting bigger and bigger.there is something called instant immersion french(it also has other languages),its like rosetta stone and i think its cheaper and it works.

  3. You could always buy a cheap "teach yourself Japanese" sort of PC game, and learn by that.

Also , when you start figuring out words for certain things, such as chair (i dont know the Japanese word for it), put a post it note there with the language for it so you will remember. Do that all around the place where you know certain words for it, it helped me haha
