Would this be a good replacement for a cable modem?

I have one that I bought in 2004, but i would like to get either a new modem with the wireless access or should i just get another wireless router that's less expensive?

Is it time for an upgrade considering I have one 4 years old?

unless you really need network/internet speed, you prolly dnt need an upgrade. However, if you do upgrade id just recomment buying a cheap router if you want wireless access
