Would this be a good syrian hamster cage? best answer-10 points!?

at the moment i have a crittertrail 2, and i hate it! i dont think she likes it either. she needs something more roomy, would this be a good choice???

It is very roomy, witch is good, but keep in mind hamsters love to climb. Also consider how easy it is to clean. You will also have to buy a waterbottle food dish nad wheel with the new one.Goodluck!

Oh yes! That works, but not all screen cages work. Some do not have a deep tray, and they scurry out, but that one has a plenty deep tray! Also another problem with cages is that the bedding can come out, but this is a good cage. Nice choice!

That's a great cage. Cuz you can add a wheel that'll be big enough for your hamster because the crittertrail wheels are a bit too small. And your hamster can move around too! And you have more room to add things to your desire instead of things connected to crittertrail cages. And besides it doesn't have any tubes so you can make or buy big enough tubes cuz crittertrail tubes have ridges which makes the tubes small.

Yes that's a nice cage, i have a syrian hamster i have a cage with 2 floors and he climbs to the top then drops!! lol they love climbing though i would say he would fit nicely in there!! its quite a big cage which is good because they like lots of space!!

Yes, that cage would work nicely if the bars are spaced close enough together.

What animal is it made for? Guinea Pig and Rabbit Cages tend to have bars spaced too far apart for a hamster.

Yes it looks okay. but beware hamsters sometimes chew the metal bars,one of my hamsters actually one time chewed a hole right through the cage and escaped!! make sure you have lots of toys to keep them happy healthy and active. also if you had a waterbottle that went through the top through a hole you may need to get one that hooks onto the cage. but if you change your mind i suggest something that is mostly plastic and that can connect to tubes that the criiters can crawl through and play in something like this maybe?
