  1. this trade would force kirilenko to the bench, or move durant to shooting guard. umm. tell you the truth, i don't know what to make of this. utah can make very good use out of the expiring contracts, and ridnour is definately an upgrade from price as backup point. actually, i like it. i like it alot, but utah fans might grumble at the mere suggestion of an ak trade.

  2. Kirilenko is in the Jazz's core. and he plays good weakside D, getting tons of blocks/steals. and an average on-ball defender. and he's known on taking days-off, or should i say games-off.

this won't do good for Jazz, they already got a decent backup PG in Brevin Knight then they get Ridnour, Marshall, Griffin (pretty much scrubs except Ridnour whos decent)

I wont do it if I was Jazz's GM

  3. In my opinion Utah could easily survive without AK47 and Marshall can bring some 3 point shooting until his contract is up.  Ridnour is a pretty solid backup PG, and They would probably just send Griffin to the D-League.  It can't hurt OKC to have a good player on there already pretty poor roster.  So yea this trade would be good, but it probably won't happen.

  4. What up AKA,

ithink the quality of the deal will come down to whether the Jazz can keep Boozer.  If they made this deal- they would be doing it to free up some cap space-- which they would hope to use that money to re-sign Boozer (since they already extended Williams earlier this off-season).  Losing Kirelinko is not that big of a deal for the Jazz-especially considering they've been trying to trade him for two year- and they don't want to get stuck with his contract for 3 years.

Not a bad deal at all if the Jazz utilized that money to keep Boozer in Utah.
