  1. its just human nature

  2. no...i don't think you can call that an mental illness...its more of an social illness

  3. I wouldn't go to the extreme of saying it's a mental illness, but the habit of gossiping gets out of control and always causing harm, then I'd say that person needs a time out to think about her/his actions. If it gets to a point that it creates an "addiction" and that it cannot be controlled, or the person can't go a day without it. Yes.

  4. sounds like like mental and emotional insecurity. ^_^

  5. no. It gives the person a feeling of importance and if they are able to say something about somebody behind their back then there is the "we" factor with the person they are telling,

"It's between us' and that makes both feel superior for the moment and like they are close as friends.

  6. ok.

  7. Oddly enough it's not considered a mental illness ... but we all know how sick it can be

  8. definitely not a mental illness, just a part of human nature and the way some people are

  9. no

  10. No it is a fact of life...

  11. Yes..this  is a mental illness and reflects poorly on the person who engages in gossip. I say..."GET A LIFE OF YOUR OWN".
