"She seemed marooned in a sea of staring, buzzing faces." Its from Stargirl and I'm not sure what it would be. I think its a simile but im not so sure........plz help! 5 stars for best answer!

    similes use the wrds like, seem, or as

    metaphors compare two unlike things

    so this is definitely a simile
