Would this be alright for school?

For the first day of school? I'm going into the 8th grade. I know everybody ask's this question. So i'm sorry=)

I was thinking

a denim mini skirt

with a just a basic green tee ( a very pretty green=))

and a white cropped sweater?

and flats.

yes but are you sure you want to wear a mini skirt the first day? you might be adjusting it all day and feel uncomfortable

it's really plain and casual so i guess you'll look fine, but you wont look extra special in that outfit.  i'd recommend a cute multi colored scarf (earthy colors and not too thick) a plain white long sleeved or three quarter sleeve t-shirt, really tight skinny dark washed jeans, a plethery brown tote bag, and some funky flats. all this is available at forever21, check out there website.

I am not sure about the mini skirt because that might be against the dress code, I would go with jeans instead.

I am not sure about the cropped sweater it depends on what it looks like. Flats are cute too.

I would skip the mini skirt and the cropped sweater.  They seem very nice, but your school may not find it acceptable.  Wear something conservative, but stylish for the first day of school.

More importantly, make sure you have your schedule, your locker combination number, a map to your classes (if you are new), and a planner to write down your assignments.  I would buy a few multi-subject notebooks too.

I would get what your teachers like too -this helps you get off to a good start by getting along with them.

Hi that outfit sounds very cute!!

It seems like the perfect outfit because it isnt overpowering but it isnt just boring. Remember to also accessorize with jewelry including a necklace and bangles!
