Would this be considered a lie?

When u pretend to do something

for example:

somebody comes into the room and you dont want them to know that u r awake so you pretend to sleep

would that be considered as a lie?

I think the real issue is why did they feel that they had to invade your privacy when you were trying to sleep?

interesting question..i'm not sure..but u didn't tell them that you're asleep they thought that by themselves..so i would not really consider it as a lie:D

I don't know I always considered lies to be a verbal thing but I guess it is being sneaky and hiding some fact so it must be some form of lying.

no i dont think its a lie... its a trick really...

i do that all the time when i cant slpee and my dad checks on me...

but then i laugh and he finds out ...

but its not a lie at all...

If it is the I lied a lot to my mom.... my bad..... I don't think it is, u know when someone says u lied to them, but u didn't u just idn't tell them cause they didn't ask? is that a lie?

I don't think of it as a lie because you didn't lie about anything you just didn't want to be bothered so you shut your eyes.
