Would this be considered an acoustic or electric guitar?

you can see the pickups on it but ive never seen a guitar like that

could someone tell me what brand or model that is??

  1. i dont think its electric guitar, bc...well now idk. there was a solo with one playing. so hm...

    all that i can see, are playing non-electric guitars, except for the cello. and the drums. so idk...going by inturments id say acoustic. but by going by the sound id say electric.

  2. That guitar would be considered an acoustic because of its large body.  I think he might of bought the pickups separately and had them put on for better amplification or a different sound.

  3. Most people would consider this an "acoustic-electric".

    Kurt's guitar is a modified Martin D-18E with  DeArmond pickups (not sure if 1 or 2) in the stock model and an added Bartolini soundhole pickup.  Per rumor, the factory DeArmonds were dead and he added the Bartolini to get it working for this performance.

  4. Electrical Acoustic  He is Left Handed but with a Right handed guitar so he inverted his strings
