For the first round

1st place - gets all 7 games at home

2nd place - gets 6 games at home - 2nd game is away

3rd place - gets 5 games at home - 2nd and 3rd are away

4th place - gest 4 games at home - 3rd, 4th, and 6th are away

Does that sound fair to you?

  1. No, that's going too far, in my opinion.  I like the system how it is; I think it's right.

  2. Hey BILL? Long day on solving mathemetical sequences on the PC today.......

  3. no i like it how it is

  4. No Good. To many home games for the Wings

  5. No i like how it is 2-2-1-1-1 is fine it adds more flavor to it. plus you want it to be fair for both teams to have some sort of advantage.

  6. no way that is horrible just because you did the best during the regular season doesn't mean that you should get advantages in the playoffs or finals

  7. that in no way is fair

  8. No, not at all, the new way is so much better.

  9. The only problem with it is not giving the other teams a chance to make some money or the fans getting a chance to see their team play at home.

However, I'm not sure the current 2-2-1-1-1 is that much of a home ice advantage. Maybe a 3-2-2 would be better.

  10. NO!

    and home ice advantage sucks

  11. Sorry Bill. That is not fair at all to the fans of those teams. They deserve to go see there team as much as the other teams that also made it into the playoffs. They (the  fans) should not get punished because of a teams seed.
