Would this be sutible for hand luggage?

I'm going to China and want to take a bag similar to this: http://www.fatiguesarmynavy.com/store/item/FA2805 would i be able to carry my hand luggage onto the plane in this or would they not allow it?

The carry-on luggage must be of a size and shape to allow for storage in overhead compartments or underneath the seat in front of you. It cannot exceed 45 linear inches (9 inches by 14 inches by 22 inches). So according to the measurements of the product listed in your link, your item can be carried on. Us Airways lists their acceptible carry-ons to be: Up to 51 in/129 cm (11 x 14 x 26 in or 28 x 35 x 66 cm), so for them you have even more room.
