Would this bike be considered a MTB?

I have a Gary Fisher Kaitai and i do tricks on it but im not sure if its made for that stuff.

Heres a pic of it

  3. It's a 'Hybrid' bike, designed for roads, paths, dirt roads and light off road.

    I'm not sure of what you call 'tricks' but this bike wasn't designed for taking jumps and being thrown around, that sort of stuff will end up breaking the bike.

  4. i'm pretty sure the kaitai is a mountain bike , but i wouldn't be doing jumps with it if thats what you mean by tricks.

    I wouldn't be doing any big jumps or long mountain paths with it.

    just road.

  6. i would call that a recreational mountain bike and there generally not made for tricks, so long as your not hitting anything to big you should be alright, although its probably time to consider a new bike if u r doing tricks on that.

  7. Looks like a mountain bike to me. Hybrids usually have thinner tires.
