  1. It looks kind of small. You might be able to put 1 ferret in it but I seriously doubt 2. They need room to run and climb. If you want to get more than 1 ferret consider getting the Midwest double level ferret nation cage. That cage is big enough to put at least 2 to 3 ferrets in it. Its a little pricey but definatly worth it. Its great I have pet rats that are in it.

  2. WAY to small for 1 or 2 ferrets.

In my opinion and many other the Ferret Nation cage is the worlds best ferret cage.

    PROS:

    It is roomy

You can buy an add on unit to make it a 3 foom cage (called the FN143)

Has wide shelves (The widest from any cage I have ever seen)

    Easy to clean

    Fun to customize

Makes your ferrets healthy from a peace of mind

    Won't break

    Lasts for YEARS

Has wheels that lock in place

Has a place to store ferret stuff on the bottom

You can also put stuff on top

You can put the ramp up between the 2 rooms if you have to separate your ferrets for any reason like I did when I got my kit and had to switch him from Marshall's to the ferret store original formula. I didn't want the girls eatin his yucky Marshall's

    Only one CON:

Price....But if you put into consideration that in a FN 142 model you can comfortably fit 3 ferrets (not recommended for more than 3) and how happy it will make your ferret than price is no matter. I got my cage with my ferret for $250

you can get one brand new at http://www.ferret.com/item/ferret-nation... for only 206.98 shipping included.

You can buy one on ebay for $149.95 shipping not included this link may be out of date by the time you read this post but just type in ferret nation and a new cage will pop up. Don't get the 141 model that is made to house one ferret get the 142. Now this seller always sells ferret nations so there will always be a new link.

Here are pictures of MY cage (with my new custom bedding set)(This is my thread on a forum I am on)

http://www.creationsbyangie.com/ this is where I got my bedding set from. She does a really great job and it was pretty cheap compared to other custom bedding places. Plus all procedes go to help shelter ferrets or to foster ferrets.

Those cheap plastic cages I have heard many people say they are VERY hard to clean and some of them you cannot fit a decent litterbox in them. They are also not sturdy.

I would do plenty of research before you buy a ferret they can be overwhelming and are require A LOT of attention. They need to be let out of the cage AT LEAST 4 hours a day google ferret care and read up different things. maybe join a ferret forum.

All together in 11 months of ferret ownership my 3 have cost me  around $2000 dollars I got the first 11 months ago the second 9 months ago the third a month and a half ago.

  3. I think it looks big enough for 1 ferret but definitely not 2. If you can look at it in person because it may look bigger or smaller than it does on the internet.

  4. The cage looks very small.  Remember, ferrets require a lot of 'out of cage' time, 3-5 hours a day.  Also remember ferrets are highly thinking animals and require a lot of mental stimulation.  If money is an issue I would reconsider getting a ferret.  The 'cheapest' part of getting a ferret is buying the ferret, the cage, food and accessories!!!  Ferrets require yearly distemper and rabies shots.  Also as ferrets age most all have some type of illness that requires veterinary visits and lots and lots of $$$$.  Right now two of my ferrets require daily medications and monthly lupron shots from the vet, cost $200.00 a month, every month for the rest of their life!  Here is a good website to start with, go through it and then see if a ferret is right for you!

Here is a great website that goes over common illnesses that your ferret can have:

  5. It looks alright, for one ferret. I wouldn't suggest putting two in there.

Just a suggestion though. The best Ferret Cage out there is the Ferret Nation. 141 & 142.

With the 141, there is not a huge difference in price as the one you linked. And it is better.

I use it, my ferrets love it. A lot of other ferret owners use them as well.

If you end up getting another or more ferrets later, you could easily upgrade another level on these cages and save time and money.

If you're curious here is the link to these cages:

    http://www.ferret.com/ferret-cages/ferre...

Also this site has the best prices for all your ferrets needs if you don't mind shopping online.

Otherwise, if you like the one you linked - I don't think it's a terrible cage. Just make sure to give your ferret lots of time out of the cage too. At least four hours a day.

  6. That looks pretty small and even with ferret it will run out of room as it gets older.  I have two ferrets and i have a really big cage thats almost five feet tall and its perfect.

  7. I guess it's okay for 1, definitely not 2 though. I personally would look into a larger cage because ferrets can get quite big. But that should do for now but you will definitely need a bigger one when the ferret grows.
