  1. That all depends. If you have all of the walls and any matching curtains in the same color, it doesn't distract the eye as much so it will keep continuing. Whereas if you have purple walls and white curtains, moulding, etc, this will break up the flow and will look much smaller.

You could also do an accent wall and keep the rest of the walls a similar shade but much lighter. Also, think about lighting. I would add something like these: http://www.heals.co.uk/content/ebiz/heal...

  2. do you want the truth NO to dark it  will bring the walls right in ..........horrible

  3. If you did all four walls that colour, yes, it could end up looking darker and smaller. Still, definitely use that colour, as it is gorge lol. Consider doing up to three of the other walls in a colour like this (vaguely).

You still get that bright purple which will go perfectly with a cream or off white. If you do two or  three walls a neutral colour the room will look bright and airy. (Like mine, which is 1 wall green, and three cream.)

Good luck, hope it looks good and hope I helped.

  4. I think it would unless you offset it with a much lighter colour, just have that on 2....

  5. Yes, it's a pretty colour but darker colors make your room look smaller and it' may make you slightly depressed if it's too dark,

  6. It could but if you have a enough lighting, like bright lights or lots of windows, it might not be too bad.  It's a pretty color.  If you painted your window and door frames white or a lighter shade of that color it might soften it up a bit, too.
