Would this cost a lot?

I'm going on a school tour to Europe over spring break this year. Obviously I'm going to miss my boyfriend very much. I don't know if we'll have internet access, and I'm not going a week and a half without contact. I'm planning on getting a prepaid phone card for calls. I'm not gonna talk for hours every night, probably more like half an hour to an hour every other night, if that, cause we'll be very busy. So my question is, since it's international calling, but on a prepaid card, will it run up his bill? How much will it be? I really want to talk to him, but not if it's gonna be really expensive.

  1. As one poster said, buy the prepaid card when you get there.  They're readily available.  I'm not sure if they'll work with your service, so you may have to buy a "pay as you go phone" when you're there, but you should be able to determine that pretty quickly.

  2. pre paid cards are so not expensive here in europe and less if its the US, i dunno about the cellphone, i'm gonna take a guess and say yes, but if u call to his house they dont charge anything. At least in Mexico is like that

  3. dont buy the card here ...wait to but your calling card of seas....remember the value of the dollar is weak...it takes 2 u.s. dollars to make one euro....hope your saving money and lots of it -
