Yeah, definitely. But it's long now and he can probably cut it any way he wants to. I think he would look really cool with mid-length hair with bangs. Like this guy...

He would look 100% better, i have a friend that looks similar to you/him, he always had long hair... really long hair.. but hottie potential.. once he cut it off an got a cool hair style the girls where flawking towards him, they still are.

I think he would. However, if he does get a haircut I would recommend being careful not to have it cut too short...
