I work for removing window caulk. the window looks like 30 to 50 years old and has 6 little rectangular glass plates and the frame is made of wood. Caulks are surrounding each glass plates and the caulks are definetly not silicone or latex. it is hard like plaster but i don't think it's plaster. it's more ridged than plaster and the color of the caulk is slightly yellowish cream color. the caulk contains tiny tiny sparkling particles all over in it if you look close. i wonder if the tiny sparkling particles are asbestos. because i know they use asbestos in caulking. i don't know if they use it for window frames tough.does anyone know what kind of caulking it could be?
