I think that the emotional pain of humiliating yourself in front of every country at the olympics and lying unable to stand would be actually worse than the physical pain. Especially that he was the lone weightlifter for his country so everyone's eye was on him. And having to live with this memory forever... poor guy.

But I'm sure that the physical pain would be horrible too... but at least they can give you pain killers for that.

I can barely imagine what's going through his mind right now.
