  1. Not measure for measure!

For each cup of white all-purpose flour, you can often substitute 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour plus 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour.

Substituting equal amounts of whole wheat flour for all-purpose flour doesn't work as well. The resulting product is likely to have less volume and a coarser texture.

  2. I don't think it would change the taste that much.  Try it! It will be a healthier choice.

    I hope they taste great!

  3. It won't taste the same but it would still taste fine.

  4. It shouldn't do. If you are worried then why not use a different recipe?  Hope that helped :D

  5. Yes it does, use about a 1/4 cup less flour and only use butter, not margarine, or they will turn out like bricks.  Also cooking time is shortened to about 8 minutes, instead of ten, as the flour will make them brown quicker.

Also if you add about a 1/3 of a cup of wheat germ to the batter, it will give it a little bit more sweetness, as the flour takes that sweetness away.

  6. no it would actually be healthier :)
