Would this make a good trade? NFL fantasy.?

I am thinking about trading my Buccanners Defense for another players Cowboys Defense if they accepted would this make a good trade for me.

Yeah, I'd do it.  Bucs defense isn't that great. They weren't unstoppable last year like some people think they were and they're getting old.  Plus, the Cowboys have Jones at corner now.  Yes he has an attitude, but he's still a good player.  Not to mention they've got Zach Thomas the middle linebacker from Miami.  Take the trade.

If you look purely at how many fantasy points each defense/ST put up last year (using the standard scoring system), you'll see that Tampa totaled about 168 while Dallas put up 149.  If you take things at face value Tampa would be the better pick.

However, if you're spending your time evaluating defensive trades, I think you're spending your time unwisely.  Your time would be better spent researching running backs to find an edge during your fantasy football draft.  Defenses are a dime a dozen and I don't even recommend drafting one if you don't need to.

I think this would be an upgrade for you, but I also agree with the first answer that it probably won't make or break your season.  I can't see why the other party would make the trade, since I think the Cowboys D will outscore the TB D.

That's a very good trade I agree with you. The Buccs D need to get better though but if they said yes they got riped off.
