Would this make me look really bad?

If i tell my friend i like him just after a couple months(maybe 2 months) of his break up with a person he really loved would this make me look really bad?

Tell him you care! If he's heart broken, maybe he needs you to help put the peices back together for him! Your friends already, so you know each other pretty well, so it's possible your just what he needs for happiness, It's not ever bad to be honost about your feelings, there your feelings, you can't control them. Just tell him, look I've been waiting to say this to you because your heart broken, and I didn't think the timing was appropriate but I can't hold it in anymore, I know your not healed yet but I care about you alot and I understand completley if your not ready to say anything just yet to my comment, but I just wanted to let you know and when you feel better and up for it we can talk when your ready, just think about it and I will be here either way, just know I care. it kinda depends on how close you guys are... if ur really close that could be good or awkward. if its been 2 months and he seems somewhat over it, TELL HIM!!!!!! ;-)

No but you do risk being the rebound girl. The rebound person has a tough road. She could reel him back in just to make things hard on you and then cut him loose again.

Words are just words. Hang out and if he has feelings for you he will let you know. I don't think I would put my head on the chopping block just yet. Give him another month. He probably has an idea you like him. Let him clear his head and then you can be all he sees.
