I've been looking for a bustier, and I found this one online:

front http://www.smartyknickers.com/viewimg/541319535/959411279

back http://www.smartyknickers.com/viewimg/970466950/959411279

and this is what the dress looks like

I would have to special order the bustier, and I might not be able to return it if it doesn't work.

What do you think?

  1. Wooooofff!!!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!  If I was the groom, I could not wait until you ditched the dress and let me have at the bustier!!!!!

  2. Beautiful dress...Yes it will go perfect fit

  3. Im not sure the front is low enough!

  4. yes I think it will work but make sure that in the front you would have to cover it up because it might pop out and with the back do the same.. Congrats and Good Luck with your marriage! :)

  5. I wouldn't order this online.  I would go to a lingerie shop that specializes in bridal lingerie.  Get fitted to make sure it is the right size.  Also, if it doesn't work you can return it.  Also, I really like your dress...very pretty!

  6. looks like it will work

  7. The only way to know would be to try it because of the back.

    What about this one http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/in...

  8. The back on your dress looks lower i would go to a shop and try on to see where it hits on your back

  9. From the pictures, it looks like the bustier is not low enough in the back for the dress.  It also looks like the sides of the bustier will show at the back - the dress backis more squared and the bustier is more angled.

Better to go to a live shop to try one on.

Also, depends on how busty you are, you might want to consider stick on breast supports.  I understand they are more supportive than they look.

  10. yes it would that look like it would be great

  11. It MIGHT work, but it looks a bit too high at the waist. Can't you just go to a lingerie shop and try something on? I understand how much easier online shopping makes things with the time crunch most of us are under these days, but this is the most intimate part of your trousseau, isn't it worth a shopping trip?

  12. your dress is so pretty!

I think the bustier is too high. I wouldn't order it online. Go to a store and they can help you.

    congrats

  13. idk... it looks like the edges might show a littl bit on the back sides...?  it is pretty though.  Find out if you can return it if not is it to much of a loss $ wise if it doesnt work?

  14. It does look like it will work however I would be worried about the front cleavage area.  There is a very wide V in the dress. The bustier may show some!!

  15. It may work, but not sure, it may not, I wouldn't do the bustier, especially if you have to order it online, I would go for more of like just the sticky cups you can wear, than there is no back, and not a possibility for it to show in the front. I am wearing them for my wedding, my dress has too much of a deep V and no back for me to do anything else.

Good luck and it is a gorgeous dress!!!!!

  16. Make sure you get accurate measurements of the garment and accurate measurements for yourself. Make sure you give yourself a tiny bit of breathing room. If you are on the upper end of a size, go up to the next size.
