Would this one be a good headshot?

I asked this question before and this picture was the one that everyone chose, but some people told me to crop it. Is this a good headshot now? :

I like it. I agree that it could stand to be a bit sharper but i think otherwise the image is nice and could work well depending on what kind of auditions you're going for...

This is a cute picture, but it doesn't look like a professional headshot.

If you're just starting out , this is fine. If you're in a smaller market, this is fine.

If you want to pursue acting seriously as a career, you WILL have to get professional headshots at some point, but again, it depends on your situation right now and that might not be the best move for you at this moment.

So, for all intents and purposes, yes the picture is good. If you're using it to submit to agencies and they call you in, ask for feedback. Ultimately they're the ones who need to make the call of whether the shot is good/professional enough for them to submit on your behalf to clients.

no cause u have too much going on in the background....u want people look at u not that back ground...when I first clicked on it i paid attention to the background then looked at ur face...which is a big NO NO!

i'm not sure why someone told you this would be a good headshot. please don't get me wrong...it's a great shot of you. but it's unfocused...it's a little fuzzy. it's not crisp. it'll do...but it's not professional nor does it look like a professional headshot. i would still be looking for a professional photographer to do your headshots. the first website is just some examples of professional headshots you would encounter in chicago. the second website are just some guidlines for when you do get some photos taken.
