Most likely yes.  It must be able to fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead compartments. Most U.S. domestic, non commuter airlines allow a suitcase of 22"x14"x9" as carry on. Many allow a second smaller item as well such as a tote, cosmetic bag, briefcase, etc. For some international flights the size restriction may be 18"x14"x9". This is a recommended carry-on size and will vary from airline to airline so you need to check the website for the airline to be certain to get the correct information.
