I just found out that my medical insurance wont pay for women to have birth control of any kind No pills no IUD's no implants no tube tying nothing... but it will pay for men to get Viagra!

At planned parenthood an abortion is between $350–$900 They will NOT pay for one. The cost of having a baby in a hospital is between $5,000-$12,000. Just for the day of the delivery That doesn't include the twice a month visits to the OB/GYN Which they gladly pay for.

And we wonder why people end up with 6 or 7 kids? Oh and have you seen the price of condoms? Anyways 12-3-08 is my due date for my 2ed and 3rd. I'm so happy but I want to be done after that. I guess its just annoying how anti "pro-choice" this all seems to be

That does suck! America has a messed up health care system.

Here is Australia if you have a low income you are elligible for a health care card which entitles you to free trips to doctors (as long as they bulk bill... and most of them do) discounted prescription medications (pretty much everything is $4.70 i think) i believe you can have abortions for free, but if you have a baby the government gives you a baby bonus of about $6,000 which pretty much covers the OB/GYN trips from what ive heard.

The biggest problem here is that people have kids for the baby bonus! which is just insane when you look at how much it costs to raise a child!

its annoying but i understand why

Viagra treats a problem (well its suppose to fight impotence), so its like a cure

while contraception isnt a cure or treatment or whatever, its more of a choice, if you get what i mean.

a baby isnt a disease so they think it doesnt need preventing

gutted being in America, in UK we get charity's and the NHS giving us free condoms and free pills (in wales) so we are sorted

yes..It is disgusting!....and these raunchy commercials that come on time and time again about mail enhancement and suction vac's that even "Medicare" will cover...makes me sick.....it's all about $..........not morals

Well looking at it from a guys point of view, yes that is ridiculous.

I believe that a woman has a right to an abortion, if it is immoral than let God judge them.
