I've heard that you can play a mean joke on someone by pouring the oil from a can of tuna in between the windshield and hood on he passenger's side into someone's car. The stuff supposedly gets into the air intake system and gives their car a foul odor that they can't get rid of. Would this really work and would this cause any serious damage to their car?

  1. why do you want to take out your anger on a vehicle? you got a problem with someone go to that person. if i caught someone messing with my vehicle they would belong to me. don't do it.

  2. The real question is how would you feel if it was done to your car? How would you deal with the never ending stink of fish. Not funny, don't do it, it could come back and bite you in the behind.

  3. I don't really see it as a mean joke.

I mean, it's mean but not a joke.

Other words, do it for revenge, but not for laughs.

  4. If you can't get rid of an odor, I would consider that damage, and it is a crime, it's called criminal mischief and punishable by up to 500.00 or six months in jail, yeah that would be a riot.

  5. This is a mean joke & it could cause damage to YOU if they find out who did it.

  6. it will work but the smell doesn't go away that easy,i think id find another joke to play on them, that one may cost them some money to get rid of the mess the oil from the tuna will make, and they may not like this joke, good luck.

  7. Better prank that won't get you into too much trouble....

Put stale bread and bread crumbs on the car and let birds dump all over it.  As long as the vehicle is washed soon after the prank, it won't damage the paint.

  8. Yes they would work.

Serious damage?  I would think that needing to remove the whole dash to clean it out (costing thousands of dollars) is considered serious.  Others would say that because the car engine performance is NOT affected it is NOT serious.  YOu decide.

    Good Luck...

  9. Yeah thats nasty, it would work though. No real damage but you would need to spray like 5 cans of lysol through the system to clean that out. I had a customer who lived where there were lots of squirrels and for some reason they loved to pee there and her car always stunk of it. I always sprayed lysol in the vent before I test drove it.

  10. it is better to put it on the intake manifold because then it cooks! but no it wont do any damage other than the smell

limburger cheese is best on the manifold!

The urine would work but how would you collect this said animal urine. don't you have any?
