I was watching the omen the other day and I remembered the part where the mother is laying in the hospital and the nurse comes to visit. She sticks a needle in her IV and puts the air in the needle into the IV. Could that really kill some one? if so could it not be detected by some kind of device or would it look like a heart attack or something???

  1. yeah its an air bubble that gets into the blood stream and then gets to your brain

yes you can die from it

  2. It's called an air embolism, and yes, it can kill someone. it would be difficult, but not impossible to find if they were looking for it. Someone already in the hospital might have enough problems that they might not think to look.

  3. Idk if injecting air into an IV would kill someone   but I think if you stuck a syringe with nothing but air in it in your arm it would kill you.

  4. The only way to really find out if some poison killed her would be to get a toxicology report done on her blood. If traces of poison were found in her blood then they'll know. If there are cameras in the hospital they can pin point who killed her around the time she died.

  5. you will die if you do that.
