Would this sound pushy to you?

Question

I went on a few dates with this guy and he indicated that he is interested in me, but I haven't heard from him in a little over a week. I called him to say hi and said I haven't heard from him in a while so I wanted to see how he's doing.

Would that sound pushy to you?

There is no reason why you can't call him - if you went on several dates and then he disappeared for over a week - you have every right to wonder what happened.

h**l no, it's not too pushy. Calling him everyday or every other day, maybe be a little pushy. But then again, I haven't had a date in so long I would happy that she even called me back after the first date. Don't hold your breath while you are waiting for him to call you back though.

If he rang you and said the same, would you think it was pushy?  No?. So why should it be pushy if you do?  I am married and haven't dated for a long time but I am surprised that equality doesn't appear to have moved on and that women are still relying on guys to call them instead of taking the lead and control the situation themselves.  Sad.  Why sit back and wait for that call.  Call him, if he isn't interested then he will tell you and you can move on and find someone else.  Isn't that what men do?  Some men would appreciate the woman calling them rather than waiting for them to make all the moves.  Makes them feel wanted.
