Would this tattoo be cool?

well my mom past away eight years ago and i finally turned old enough so my dad would let me get a tattoo. i was thinking that since my mom and i shared the same fav. flower which is the purple pansy i should get a tattoo of that flower. so if i got this purple pansy on my left shoulder with her initials written in capital letters in cursive above and around the flower. (initials T.L.R) does anyone think that would be nice. (it's also my first tattoo)

the size would be two inches by two inches or three inches by three inches. what size do you guys think would be good?

that sounds like a great idea! the whole flower & rememberance is great

i would just think about putting it on your ankle or something;

but if you think it through and decide you want t to be on your shoulder, then its special to you and nobody elses opinions should stand in the way of that.

You go for it! I got a rose on my arm because my moms name was rose and i had a banner with "mom" inside, Just do it.

shoulder? think of your wedding dress, future jobs, ect. hide it. thats the smarter thing to do.all about the rememberance...but think about it a lil more

i think it would be lovely. placement really counts though. dont put your moms name on your t*t or anything. i would suggest a shoulder blade or hip, forearm, lowerback, etc...the places that pretty tat's go.
