Although the Mavericks would rid themselves of an Expiring Contract in Kidd and Love it in the process, the Rockets wouldn't do this trade, as they'd be giving up Some Excellent, Young Players in Scola, Battier, and Alston. Jackson is just a Veteran Role Player. Scola could be an all-star in the Future, and Battier is an excellent Defender, with Alston being a premiere shooter. I don't see the Rockets giving up 3 Pieces of what could be an Excellent Lineup in the Near Future for an aging Kidd and Lackluster Brandon Bass.

To Directly answer your Question, it would be Good for the Mavericks, horrible for the Rockets, and it will never happen.

I don't think so but you never know how things can work out, can you? My reason being Dallas would lose Jason Kidd whom they just spend tons of money and players for; but they would get money for their cap and Lois Scola could have a good season, you never know.
