Would tiny rubber bands that you use in your hair work the same as teeth effect bands?

I have a gap and right now i am using the tiny rubber bands that you put in your hair, and they closed up my gap for right now, but do they work the same and as well as the teeth effect bands? And do you think they will close up my gap for good like the teeth effect bands would?

the gap would go away better with braces, if you are just putting tiny rubber bands on your teeth you will end up having spaces between other teeth. just get braces

They are the same type of band in. The only thing though is that you should not self treat this.  Even people who have braces do not always need the bands.  Also by placing those bands on two specific teeth you may be seeing results and that gap closing yet you could be creating gaps between other teeth.

Ok i used teeth effect bands...At first my teeth were sore but then the pain went away...and when i would take them out my teeth would go back...I used 2 have a big gap and after using the teeth effect my gap is really small n' i dont have spaces on the other sides where my gap went togeather...Im buying more today, i havnt used them in like 5 months...but they really do work
