Would towing this car get me a ticket?

Is it illegal in Texas, specifically Fort Worth, to tow a car with a tow rope??

Cannot answer about Texas state laws but, If you do tow, go to Wal Mart and buy a tow rope made for towing in the auto section. Never use a chain or cable (wire rope). They will damage both cars.

If you place a sign in the rear window that says "vehicle in tow" and make sure that the brake lights are visible I think it would be legal. I also think you must use something more stable than a rope so that the towed vehicle doesn't swerve.
