Absolutely yes ! There must be at least hundreds of thousands of people around the world that would do so for their pet, dogs in particular. There are many people (myself included) that think more of and care more about their pets than a lot of people they know ! Many non-pet owners simply do not understand the intimate bond that can develope between the two. I love my dog with all my heart and I would take reasonable risk to save him even if it meant risking my own life.
