  1. This sounds either like:

    1) A cheesy pickup line or

    2) A cheesy fortune cookie

"Together forever...tackling all challenges! Reaching new heights! Undivided! MUHAHAHA"

    Yeah....pick up line!

  2. Antifeminists will never let that happen.

  3. Not necessarily.  I think there is some value in divergent thinking - sometimes disagreements lead to new ways of looking at things.  And I think men and women can bring different perspectives to a problem.  However, the polarization that is found so extensively on this forum certainly leads no where.  When two groups continuously point their fingers at each other in attempt to lay blame, nothing productive happens.  So maybe standing side by side is too much to hope for, but we could at least be looking in the same direction.

  4. You are soooo right! That's the way it should be.

  5. I think that each s*x has an insight into life that the other might not have.  When we come to accept that we are complements and not competitors we will have all of our bases will covered and nothing but good can come from that.  Its the notions that we are, or should be, exactly the same or that we are  polar opposites that causes such a divide.  We should all value our strengths, accept our weaknesses, appreciate what the opposite s*x has to offer and only then can we move on.

  6. I don't see why not. In the case of feminism a woman can be against it just as much as a man can be. All it takes is some common sense and an absence of hang-ups re men.

  7. Unquestionably, but I can't see it happeneing :(

Very sad really, we should be tenacious team mates, not continuously riled up in petty squabbles over who is better and all that tripe.

Its all baloney, men and women have a good and rightful place in society.

  8. Definitely not, there are clear differences between the sexes that make them different and therefore sometimes we have to do things independently. I do thnk the different sexes should support each more however.

  9. yes, but the reality is that somewhere something or things are working to prevent that. control is the motive. divide and conquer is the weapon of choice and it is working very well. consider adam and eve and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or the tower of babel. adam and eve stood together when faced with gods wrath at their disobedience and for their togetherness they were both kicked out of paradise to toil and struggle the rest of their days. at one time the world was united as one in race and language at babel. it stood together in an effort to reach heaven and be with and like god and for their efforts had their language and physical appearance confounded in order to break their unity. the feminist movement was just another twist on the divide and conquer road to keeping us dazed and confused as to what we could and should be. we have to realize and understand who we are in order to fend off the attacks from without that would keep us separate from one another as human beings. there is no "essential" difference between men and women. we are but two parts to a whole, the natural affinity of which is each other. the underlying reason and cause for our separatist mindset  may be more than we wish to discover. perhaps the best we can and should do is break free from it without ever knowing where it came from.

  10. I believe it could be. I believe there is one snag to this theory.

    People.

I believe that people show where and how they would help.

It is oft their secret passion, vanity and pride that make so little sense in terms of gains where this may be found. Of course not in all things, not for all people.

I believe that regardless of any person or thier nature they fit into society, in fact they already do.

I consider that no matter to what extent that places any one person or group at odds with anything else it will always be in that delicate dance of the most hypnotic of grace, you may have to step back a long way to see it.

I think it is already there tho, I just dont think its seen. There is a lot of drama the supercedes it in the senses.

I think attitudes and beliefs could be better used to make a better of it.

Disagreements dont have to be destructive competitions, They can come to together.

Misunderstanding is nothing more than a unique opprtunity to improve understanding - the best example I can think of right now is found in language students and how most native speakers treat them. With patience and respect for the effort, Even awe at times. Talk about encouraging.

Competition doesnt have to be negativem, the negative is found in the needs of those that play - and not so often the aims of what is sought.

All out hostility isnt the end, if you consider that from destruction comes creation. Even at times this may be required perhaps. But I doubt it given the vast number of other possible outcomes.

Sometimes the Dance is all there seems to be for so many.

@Kiki .. mm what marvoulous insight. lol. Delightful. (Im not being sarcastic)

  11. Not at the urinal, please.

  12. sounds like a plan, when can we start?

    but what of the haters?

  13. they do, its only tv, media and college that talk about the battle of the sexes, we live, work, love and fight together everyday

  14. Men & women standing side by side is similar to playing the piano with two hands in harmony.

To play the piano we're taught to match each hand to specific keys (notes).  We can try to make the right hand invert to play what the left hand has natural talent in with much practice.  However, the music becomes more beautiful, more harmonious, and more exciting when used as a pair instead of iscolating each hand.

Much like learning to play the piano, we (men & women) must study what goes where ... and listen to the music that's being created ... without fear of failure.  We mustn't stay in the same genre' of music if we're ever to grow and acheive greatness.  Imagine mastering "Twinkle - Twinkle Little Star" and never expanding on the possibilities?  How sad would that be? ;o(

  15. Gender differences are promoted by our consumerist culture. One day maybe we'll all wake up.

  16. Great idea.  Now, if we can just find secure storage space for the feminists.

  17. Definitely. So many talents are wasted by those who aren't willing to admit that everyone- male or female- are great at something, and that  everyone has something to contribute.

Shouldn't that be obvious when it takes both sexes to make a child?

If we put all the b.s. aside, the world could be a great place for everyone (except the haters).

  18. sounds like fun.

  19. In my world they do.

I don't know what world you're living in.

  20. I don't want women beside me, I want them in front of me where I can keep an eye on them
