I do try to stay in control most of the time,

  1. Actually, your strange obsession with helmets is starting to scare me. No, this will not encourage you to take more risks. Instead, it will actually give you a bigger feeling of saftey.

    Hope this Helps.

  2. Helmets are always safest

I heard of someone who was skiing with out a helmet, and was standing to get something out of his pocket. He just fell over, hit his head on a rock and died!

It will not make you take more risks, in fact, you probably wont notice it at all.

  3. I dont think so. But I am kinda against helmets, they freak me out! I dont like that I dont have full vision. Are you already a crazy skiier? If so you might get a little braver!

  4. I'm not sure if it would make you take more risks. If that is your goal, I would suggest skiing with people above your level (that are patient with you) and would encourage you to progress. However, a helmet is a great investment. I have numerous friends that wouldn't be here or would have had serious injuries without it. And, it's usually someone else's fault...lots of crazy, busy stuff going on.

  5. Wear the helmet it can save your life. Be aware that a helmet will not necessarily prevent a concussion or other head injury. But if you don't wear it the injury would be much worse. The helmet should be there for protection not to give you a sense of security.

  6. That depends on your personality.
