  1. I would rather have a beardy because their more docile than cats (i got bitten by one OW!) and I simple love reptiles! The beardy is cuter, doesn't need a litter box, eats insects, puffs up its beard, got cool eyes, they're dragons(i LOVE DRAGONS!) and they have a cool tongue.! Yea and they don't scratch! It's also easier to clip their claws. They just sit there!

  2. personally i would rather have a kitten, because you dont have to worry about cleaning their cage and ect, you just have to worry about their litterbox. also you can let a kitten walk around in your house and honestly, kittens are more affectionate and playful. and cute!!!!! you could also travel with your cat, well atleast my aunt does when she travels!!

    hope i helped!!

  3. it depends if the kitten is evil(cuzz mi cat is)lol, and it also depends if the bearded dragon has teeth (i dont know if they have teeth)to bite u wit.

    Avonlea

  4. Tuff honestly

Kitten are sweet and adorable and pretty independent, specially after they not all cute and kittie like. Although I have 3 cats, 2 which are over 10 yrs of age, I love cats. Cats can be all like leave me alone additude at times, and snuggle up w/ you the next.

Bearded Dragons, although I don't own one, I have an iguana instead ... BD are known to be very sweet and nice, regardless of age. BD do take a bit more attention due to needing UVB, bugs, veggies.

Reptiles vs Cats ... Honestly it's your own preference. I love my iguana, I love my cats, I love my dog, I love my bird, I love my salt water fish. Do I want another animal, yes.

It is what best fits into your life, your life style, more then which is better to have. Reptiles/BD can be a lot of work, more then a cat/dog. If power goes out, you need to worry about how you're going to give your Reptile/BD heat, where a cat/dog you can cuddle up in a blanket (although some iguana and maybe BD owners do that also w/ them). Cats you can buy most cat food over the counter at some pet store. Yes, owning a cat you may have to clean out a cat litter box if you don't let your cats outside (which I don't), but then if you have a dog don't you go clean up there dog fecal matter in the yard? Reptile/BD you can buy bugs at pet stores, some BD owners give there BD veggies/greens, so that's one extra step that maybe a person may not want to do. Many reptile owners travel w/ there snakes, BD, iguanas, etc., just because it is not as common as cats/dogs, reptile owners travel too and bring them right along w/ them.

All animals grow up, they cute when they small, but sometime they grow up, even if they are one of those cats/dogs that are designed to stay small. All animals have there own "additude" per say, if they "evil" you gotta still love them.

  5. ok your question is very biased. you are asking that question in the reptile section. of coarse people are going to say bearded dragon. i would say bearded dragon because i love reptiles.

  6. Bearded dragon.

    No competition!

  7. i've had many kittens. i am so over kittens. they're cool for a while then they turn into cats. lame.

bearded dragons are amazingly awesome and stay cute forever, imo. i'd kill for one.

  8. OMG I would so go with the kitten!!! Well then again I am a HUGE cat lover. . . but anyways I would still go with the kitten because the kitten can become your companion and they are so cute (not saying that the bearded dragons aren't) and they aren't really too hard to take care of. . . well on the other hand bearded dragons only have to be fed like 1 time a week or so. Actually I don't really know. . .I'm not the reptile kind of person. But still I would go with the kitten no questions asked.

  9. bearded dragons are way better than any cat or kitten

  10. I love both but couldn't survive without cats because they have always been such an integral part of my life.  Both have great personalities but when you have more than one cat they can almost take care of themselves and you don't have to worry about them so much.  My cats can sleep with me and get between me and my book (not appreciated but would be missed).  It's easier to find someone to care for a cat while you're gone than a beardie and power outages aren't so life threatening in northern New England.  It's also easier to play games with a cat and get them to cuddle.  Cats can live into their mid to late twenties and recently there was a confirmed 34 year old.

I would only have my beardie as an addition to cats.  I love watching her, especially when she torments the furballs.  Even without the cats I wouldn't be able to give her free run of the apartment.  It's difficult to find a herp vet when there's a local nonprofit vet in addition to more than a dozen other vet in this town that cater to cats and dogs.  She's pretty easy to care for once you know how.  She'll only give me a dirty look instead of shredding my leg if I'm a few minutes late for dinner.  She's extremely expressive for any animal-if I hadn't grown up knowing all the nuances of feline body language I'd say that she was even more expressive than a cat.  If I can't play with her for a few days because I have a big project deadline coming up, my house won't get trashed.  I can take her with me to various places far more easily than a cat.  Feeding her well is more straight forward and cleaning up after her is simple.  Reptile musk beats rank litterbox any day (not that a litterbox should ever be allowed to get rank).  I hate crickets and take great joy in watching them go crunch.

And I could keep going on for a very long time on either one...
