I would say it is, it's a bit of a Jessies car really. You want a real car when you're a man. Like an Audi A3 or A4.

I am with those who have said if you want it, drive it! An MR2 may not be the fastest thing on four wheels, but it is decent and is just as much a man's car as it is a woman's!

I drive a little 1.5 Toyota, who cares what people say in the first place and in the second, I get compliments from both males and females.

Yes, it is a bit, along with the MGTF.

If you're looking for a decent roadster, I'd go for the Mazda MX5, you'll see many of them driven by men, mainly middle-age, in midlife crisis like me who's wives won't let them have a motorbike or mistress!

The MX5's are great fun...........and cheaper than another woman!

NO this is not a girls car IF you put suspension,rims,good tires,little work on the engine and VOILA!!!! you doesnt have to buy a stupid front wheel drive and you have a good FR to race on the circuit and be very competitive

It is a little. Unless you really want the RWD from the MR2, I would look at the Celica, or even a Lotus

They aren't bad though, quick little lightweight cars that should handle very well. They do even look a little (Porsche) Boxster-ish

Unless you mean the older shape, from 1990 to  2000. In that case they are not girly at all

Most two-seaters are girls cars, unless you are talking about real sports cars - such as a 350Z, Corvette, or a Ford GT.

Girls like smaller cars, because they are small, guys need bigger cars, because they are usually bigger.

the MR2 is one h**l of a car for anyone, its not just a girls car. i think it got the name "girly car" cuz its more round and not as fast as say the nissan 350z. but none the less its a car for anyone to enjoy and there are plenty of them that have been used for road racing areas
