Would you Like to Live in Space or on Another Planet?

Like Mars. Some people seem to think that when the Earth gets overpopulated, over polluted, totally nuked, or otherwise totally trashed, we will just go live in space or colonize another planet. How would you like that?

  1. I prefer being here on Earth. If I went to Mars I'd miss the birds chirping in the morning, lol. Quite true, honest! Anyways, our sun is going to burn out in another 5 billion years so that'll be the end of it and us, I presume.

Another point: since we are immortal beings, or souls, we do continue our existence after this physical one but it will be in a finer form. SPIRIT IS ETERNAL.

  2. Good idea.

  3. Unfortunately the solar radiation from the sun would overcome you in space, the atmosphere of a planet would be your only protection....like perhaps one of the moons of Jupitor or something.  We'd need a biosphere on Mars.

  4. I will not be leaving.Let others go if they wish, but I'm staying put.

  5. I'd be interested in a planet that's not part of the milky way ...

  6. Space wouldn't be bad but Mars as it now would be miserable.

  7. I wouldn't like it; I'd get homesick for the green hills of Earth, the blue skies.

It would be quite an adventure for some.    If humanity survives long enough, we will have to colonize other planets.

  8. You've not met the A!Y Poets? - mate, you haven't lived.  Start at the top with T.D Euwaite, then work your way downwards.

No, I wouldn't want to live elsewhere than here - with all its troubles, I love it still. (And, anyway, the idea is a bit like chucking over a wonderful car 'cos the ash-tray's full - let's make sure we nurture this earth and concentrate on solving its problems instead of abandoning it for another world....to probably mess that up too)

  9. I would only llive in other planets if there were lots of oxygen there.

  10. h**l no!!

you may as well ask if I would want to live in a motel 6 for the rest of my life. you would never be able to experience outdoors.

  11. I'm told that several Y!A poets are headed for Mars, so yes, I would gladly live among them.
