Veras, Farnsworth, Edwar, Marte, Dan Geise, and David Robertson...and I think I'm forgetting somebody...oh yeah, the greatest closer in the history of the game and right now, Mariano.

I think the Yanks have the best bullpen in baseball. Agree/disagree?

  2. Yes my young friend, I would agree with you. And I've been saying it since June when only us real Yankees fans realized it.

  3. hellz yes and i say that as a mets fan wat do u think about the mets bullpen are they crppy or wat!!!!

  4. like then you know no other bullpens. The twins are and i'm not even a twins fan i'm a sox fan then maybe the Angels.

  5. oooo yeah i totally agree with you!!! not to mention the starting pitching has been INCREDIBLE and the offense is PHENOMINAL but the bullpen has been UNTOUCHABLE!!!!!!!!! GO YANKEEES!!!!!!!!!!

  6. no the angles have the best bullpen in MLB they have K ROD

  7. i have to agree and disagree its between the yankees and the angels and tampa rays. im am not  there fans. to be honest i am a mariners fan and honeslty i think everyone knows they arent doin so good rite now. but yankees do show a pretty good bullpen. and actually reminds me of seattle......last year of course.the yankees have been absolutly flawless so far. angels basiclly the same but when you have their starters goin deep witch they should be anyways you cant really get to see it on a reguler basis.the rays are basicly the same with the yankees. even though there starters have been doin an ok job but when ever there not though...thats when we see them dominate. but to be truthfull the best closer is mariano.i know how important it is to have a great closer. let alone a future hall of famer. jj last year for the mariners was exactly the same.

  8. last time i checked, they have the 6th lowest ERA in the majors. but since the allstar break, they have an ERA between 1-2 and havent given up that many hits at all so i think right now, yea they do. but i dont like farnsworth.

  9. I agree with you, not because I am a Yankee fan but, I truly believe this is the best bullpen in baseball right now.

Veras has shown the ability to be a successful late-inning reliever in the minors. Owns a resilient arm that can be used early and often.

Farnsworth has heat that has been known to top 100 m.p.h., and he combines it with a nasty two-seamer and a cutting slider. Can be a strong strikeout pitcher.

Ramirez has a wiry frame that can be deceptive--especially for right-handed batters. Is so electric that he dominate hitters on occasion.

Marte is a rare southpaw with blazing heat that can make left-handed hitters look silly. Throws strikes and stays ahead in the count. Racks up strikeouts.

Giese has a resilient arm, a perfect pitchers' frame and the ability to log several innings in one relief stint.

Robertson has a live arm and a lot of strikeout potential. Usually keeps the ball down in the strike zone.

Rivera keeps the ball in the park with remarkable efficiency. He has a deceptive fastball and the greatest cutter the game has ever seen. Is incredibly durable.

  10. Sure! They're clicking on all cylinders now. I think they have the rest of the division on the ropes. Seeing Marte get Papi out on Saturday  was a lift. Granted, Papi's not 100%, but it's a good start for us. Lots of options now with the lefty.

  11. As a diehard Yankees fan, I can't say they're the best. They're OF the best, and you really can't validly argue that there is any bullpen that is currently better than them, but they're not above and beyond some other bullpens in the MLB right now.

They're getting there, though. If they're still in this same place at the end of August, I'll have a different answer. Then I'll be convinced that they're not just hot, but actually good... which is something we've been lacking in a bullpen for years. Girardi and Eiland are doing something right. And now that they've gotten rid of Hawkins, it feels like they've gotten the poison out of the pen.

  12. they still need a better 8 inning pitcher and.................. i say

    get rid of farnsworth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. yep definitley. Im just worried the game doesnt get rained out tonight :(

  14. Agree and their starting rotation isn't so shabby lately either!

  15. i think they have one of the best bullpens

i dont know the other bullpens in the league so yea i wud say they have the best bullpen

    edit

edwar rameriz's stats are rediculous look them up
