There would be no parents going, but her 20 nearly 21 year old brother would be there to look after her.

I'm the 15 year old girl by the way.

I haven't asked my parents yet, i'm just wondering what sort of reaction to expect ?

Any pursuasion tips would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

  1. No, not at 15 that is too young. Kids are too grown these days, they'll tell you anything to get them go and big brother might allow whatever especially if theres some type of deal between them. I was a teen once. not too long ago and I knew all the tricks and games to play on mommy and daddy. Lol. Those boys are too old for her to be around period.

  2. Um, NO.  Over my dead body.

  3. No I wouldn't...I know when i was 15 my brother was 15 years older than me and there is no way he would have been able to control me or watch me because he would be doing his own thing leaving me alone.  There is just no way.

  4. where i'm from, a 19 yr old going out with a 15 yr old is seen as taboo enough, that's like a university freshman with a high school freshman!

in the end our opinions don't matter, you seem pretty liberal as it is, if you trust him and her older brother, then why not.

  5. No.  At that age, all the guys want is s*x.  You are not a girlfriend, you are a "piece".  All they think about is "doing you", not even making love.

This info comes from my husband...who wouldn't let his sister go.

  6. Nope, not even with ur brother, cus he'll let u get away with things that he may not normally, or ur parents wouldn't let u do normally, To be a kool brother, and i'm sure ur parents know this. My brothers were like that sometimes. I'm sorry, but i don't think it's likely, unless ur parents r just super kool...

  7. I would say HECK no, and if your 15 you shouldnt have a boyfriend over 18.

  8. h**l no!

not to mention (dunno where you live) but where i live a sexual relationship with those ages is actually illegal, and knowing boys of that age, i'm sure drinking would be involved and therefore your brother would not be taking care of you.

  9. not a chance. i would never let my 15 yr old go away with her 19 yr old bf no parents even if her older brother was there, u r underage sorry it just would NOT happen.  i wouldnt let my 15 yr old even date a guy that was 19.

  10. No way.

  11. Absolutely not

  12. It's killing me to say this, because I remember being 15 and wanting to do things like that, but no, I wouldn't allow it. I'm sorry. If you read all of the posts on here from 13 year old girls who are pregnant, you'll understand why. Good luck.

  13. I wouldn't allow my 15 year old date a 19 year old. In my state it is illegal for a 19 year old to have s*x with a 15 year old so why even put yourself in the position. Since, I wouldn't let you date the 19 year old then the weekend would be out of the question. I also wouldn't let my 15 year old to go away for the weekend without a resposible adult (21 does not count.)

  14. Are you Nucking Futs? Not only NO, but h**l NO. I have a grand-daughter due to an example as described...

  15. no way. first of all having a boyfriend that old is not safe. and going on a holiday with him is out of question. even though your brother is older he cant watch you 24/7.

  16. NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!

I trust my daughters and my son, but I would not let this be for either of them.  If I was the parent of the 19 year old or the parent of the 15  year old.

No matter the feeling, no matter the maturity level, no matter the trust, no matter what you KNOW your child will do ------- the law is the law and walking too close to the edge of the law and the edge of temptation is never good.

Should you fall or slip it would change your life forever.

The job of a  parent is to make the best choices for you until you are legally able and understand ALL possible scenarios and the consequences of your actions.

  17. nope.

    & i'm 16 btw.

  18. i guess it all depends on how well your parents trust you, your brother, and your boyfriend.

on average though, i doubt most parents would let their 15 year old go.

and do they know you two are sexually active? if not, that could be a reason to NOT let you go, in fear that he could pressure you into s*x.

but if they know, then maybe they trust you alot already..

i dont know, but good luck!

ohhhh, and also, where do you live? the word bloak(bloke*) or whatever sounds like your in england, but i would know :P buttt to all the people saying its illegal, maybe where she lives its allowed that she dates and is sexually active with an older guy?

  19. I don't think so.  It's illegal, they are in totally different situations in life, and there are no parents.  IT may be different if there were parents and you knew them well and these kids have grown up together, but otherwise NO.  My mom was an idiot and let me fly to Florida by myself to meet my boyfriend in Tampa when I was 15.  I look back on it now and there is no way I would ever let my kids go.

  20. LOL, when I was 15 I wasn't allowed to go away unless it was with family-PERIOD.  You're 20, but nearly 21 year old brother being there doesn't mean much--at that age, boys still party like they're rock stars.  If you were my daughter, it wouldn't even be up for discussion.  Sorry hon, but you're just a little too young for trips with boys.

  21. If you were going alone...Never...

But since your older brother is going...it would depend how responsible he is, when it come to himself and you

If he is protective of you, then yeah! But if not, I would not let you go!

  22. Doubt it. just because when i was 15 my boyfriend was 18 and my older brother 20 at the time, would not have supported a trip with a bunch of guys. what i would have pulled back then is to get my brother to act like he was gonna watch me like a hawk. explain to them that you wont sleep in the same room and get ur brother to act like hes not gonna let the guy touch you....

BUT for me it was truely like that...my brother despised me dating someone so much older. what does he want with a 15 yr old? their virginity?

anyways dont get ur hopes up...in a couple yrs u can do whatever u want, trust me i was in the same boat.

  23. No way. Whether or not teenagers should be having s*x at that age is another issue. There's a laundry list of concerns I'd have other than that - namely drugs, alcohol, physical harm, etc.

  24. No, I'd have him arrested for statutory rape first! I would cut off his friendship with my son also. Why aren't you hanging around with kids your own age?

If he is sleeping with a 15 yr old and knows its illegal, then he is either really stupid or doesn't care about the law. Neither option would make him good enough for my daughter. Honey, it isn't love on his side if you have to sleep with him to keep him.

  25. no, sorry honey, but i just wouldn't feel comfortable with that situation

  26. If I was your parents I would say no, however if you've been dating him for awhile and he's a good guy then maybe. Sorry  no tips to give.

  27. No, I wouldn't. Sorry.

**So are you going to let THEM know that you two are 'doing it'?

  28. No.  You're underage.

  29. I'm fairly liberal...And I would say no....

  30. well if yur brothers gonna be there, then i would let youu.

    :)

  31. My honest opinion...I wouldn't...unless I want to become a grandma anytime soon....which I don't.
