Question:

Would you apologise if you saw me in heaven?

Strictly for those who say (or agree) I'm going to h**l for being an atheist.

I don't plan to change my religious views any time soon. They are not in alignment with Christianity, though on some points agree with it quite well.

Basically, my hypothetical situation is that heaven and God exist. However, what if I don't automatically get a trip to the heated pool, and get judged on my actions only. I also don't plan to give up trying to do my best to keep a good moral standard, by the way.

Basically, you go to heaven, and I'm there because I was good my whole life, despite not believing. Would you apologise for judging me so harshly, or would you feel cheated that such impurities could enter the kingdom?

  1. I reckon you'll be in the grave like the rest of us until Jesus returns.

  2.     No I will have no need to apologize.

I have read the only way that a non believer can ever get into heaven is if he or she has NEVER ever heard the Word of God. If they have NEVER had the opportunity to recieve Jesus Christ. Say for example a child that has grown up in the wild alone with no one to teach him. Then God would judge this person according to the heart. When Eve and Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, it made us so that we would know in our hearts the diffrence between good and evil. These people will be judged according to there actions.

  3. I probably wouldnt even remember you, we all will look so different.

  4. I would give you a Bunny hug and God must have let you in because He made you and knows your heart. I don't judge who will be or not be in Heaven that's God's job.

  5. I am a Christian, and I will not judge you in this lifetime, and will be singing praises to see you there. I, with the help of God,after 65 years, have put the "amazing" back into the song " Amazing Grace".

  6. What a big 'IF'.

It would mean you were right and God was wrong.

For all of your very best good moral standards do they really compare to the life of Christ?

That He gave His life because our very best was nowhere near good enough rather puts you to shame.

He has declared it to you.

That He rose again the third day proving the Father's acceptance of Him and what He did, inclines me to believe Him rather than you.

Perhaps you need to think again?

Just maybe hypothetical situations don't compare with real ones?

  7. I'm not too worried about having to apologize to you, since according to the bible, and the fact you're a self-proclaimed "atheist" I feel pretty confident about not seeing you up there.

On the other hand, how can you call yourself an atheist if inside you're still searching for God.  If you're going on religious websites to find the answers you're missing.  Don't give up on finding God, He'll keep waiting for you.  And then when I do see you up in Heaven... no apologies needed.

  8. I don't believe you are going to h**l....I believe that what you said will happen...you will end up there anyway, and I would come up to you and give you a hug and apologize for all of those fundies who told you that you were going to h**l.

As a matter of fact, let me apologize for them now....I'm sorry that those jerks are telling you that you are going to h**l, because you're not.

  9. If I saw you in the kingdom, I would hug you

  10. If I saw you in heaven, then there would be some serious problem.

That would mean that two atheists made it into heaven without going through all of the religiopsychoknarbling.

    And taht's nawt riet.

  11. I'd be so happy to be there, I might not even notice you or Saddam up there!

  12. "No" - The Fundie Christians who might answer this.

  13. Unless you accept Christ, I will not see you there.  That is not judging - your actions and beliefs have already judged you.  I am just relaying what God has already said.

  14. no worries... you won't be there... but it's nice to have a dream

like the idiots who blow themselves and innocent  people up and think they're going to heaven and will have 70 virgins?

  15. i will tell you something, Heaven is not a place of corruption:

If i saw an evil person in Heaven, it could be two way:

I would know that he repented the last minute of his life on this earth.and jesus forgave him

or the devil  is  surely  also going to be there.

But because this is not so according to God's word, Evil people have their place in h**l.

other people shall be saved by their works.

  16. well according to what i have learnt from bible class today, you might not be going to h**l because there are two types of gods which atheists believe to exist. there's one who only rewards theists and the other one who reward the atheist. soo that means that atheists also have a chance of going to heaven. isn't that great to know?

  17. If I saw you in heaven, I would suspect that we were BOTH in the wrong place.

But, if we were there, apologizing to you would not be the first thing to come to my mind.

I bet you can guess what WOULD be.

*excuse us, everyone....come here bunny, let's rub noses*

    kiss,

    Lady Morgana

  18. Being agnostic, I'd be surprised if I met anyone floating on a cloud to be honest. And as I follow Gibbs' rule - Never apologise; it's a sign of weakness - I wouldn't apologise, no.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, when you're dead there isn't a great deal you can do!

  19. I don't recall judging you or any atheist, so instead I'd smile, say hi and pat your cute little fuzzy head.

  20. Um, if you don't give your life 2 Christ, you couldn't even survive in the presence of God.  So I doubt that this willl be a problem.  There is hope though, and I'll be praying for ytuo

  21. Well I know what the BIBLE says and that is that unless you believe and have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then you will be going to h**l.  So unless you do that then we won;t be seeing you in heaven simple as that.  Sorry to burst your bubble.

  22. I would say 'I'm sorry, but WHAT in GODS name are YOU doing here!!??.........Just kiddin x
