Would you be able to forgive someone who killed your loved one for no apparent reason ?

That is a tough call & hard to imagine even possible but it does happen & oh it is such an incredibly beautiful thing. I feel I would like too, then I would also feel I owe it to my loved one I had lost, not to.  

If I don't forgive it eats me away, I would have to forgive though either way I guess I would never be the same.

To forgive, first I would have to understand. I would have to see if they actually had a secret motive for killing my loved one. If they truly didn't, then I would forgive them, for it would mean that their mind wasn't working quite right! :)

No....I would like to think I had evolved enough as a person to forgive them.....but to be honest I wouldn't be able to do that.

I would be at odds with my values but in time my anger would be calmed my sadness settled and my desire for retribution would pass. I would leave forgiveness to those who forgive and trust in their fair decisions.

Dumbfound....Should I be if that happens. To forgive or not will not be as important as loosing a loved one..I may not fear anything to feel dying with a loved one, Even if for no apparent reason at all..

Yes, I would.  I would have to, to heal.  Anger and hate are the two worst emotions to deal with, they make you sick.  In order to heal I would have to truly forgive even that.

It would take some time, but yes, I believe I could.

I had to come to the realization at one point in my life, where this was a possibility.  The only way I could come to terms with it was; No matter what is done to the body, they cannot touch the soul.  If they are right with God, there should be no remorse.

Well, I know I'd be angry for a few months,  but after that I'm sure I'd let family members put flowers on the killers grave.
