Question:

Would you be bummed~?

how would you feel if you thoughtfully constructed an answer

on Y!A , and then found out that the question was not earnest,

but in fact, was rigged by a fake alternate profile for the sole purpose

of being answered by by the same person posing as another profile,

presumably to boost thier ratings and ego?

what if ten percent of your answers were for naught?

what if half of your answers didnt mean anything

to the fake questioner(s)?

i would like input from everyone,

even those people with falsely inflated multiple profiles

be as humorous or dry as you like

make your answers short or long~

i actually read and appreciate all of your answers.

thank you

.

  1. Nah! I'm a glass-half-full kinda guy.

The benefits that I may give to someone by giving an honest answer will always outweigh the suspicions that my answer will come to naught.

It is always better to do something hoping it will help than to not do something because it MAY be for ulterior motives.

  2. i would call it trying to be better than yourself so thats why you made up another name just to prove 1 thing or 2 1st if you do this what are you proving--nothing unless its points---2 u must have a split personallity where 1 side says we need more points and the otherside says yes we do

  3. umm... okay? :D

  4. What's to be bummed out about?  Who asks the question doesn't matter.  What matters is that I found the question worthy of giving a response.  The querent may or may not appreciate the response, but others who answered the question in earnest or who come across the question might find what I had to say beneficial to them or to someone they know.

As for attaining "fake" points, I look at it this way.  Points on Y!A are the same as points on Who's Line Is It Anyway?  They don't matter, you just get 'em.  I'd answer the questions even if there were no points given.
