  1. No.The cars that are running well are not in the pits and damaged or poor running cars are making adjustments. No

  2. hmm..that could be a fun new twist. Sure why not?

We could be watching the crews working on cars instead of, what is it we watch during red flags? Oh yeah, NOTHING!

were you a top contributor this morning? or am I that unobservant?

  3. Hey Dave...good question for thought!  It certainly would put a different perspective on the outcome of the race.  There might be more competetive cars left at the end of a race.  Have a great Memorial Day Weekend yourself (and everyone else too).

    go Jr.>>>>

  4. no, they have made a mess of thigs enough for the fans that the drivers only can have real fun at some track off the beaten path. Like Tony's dirt!

  5. It's not something I want to see done. You should only be able to work on the cars during the race and a red flag is a complete halt of it. Besides, the conspiracy theorist would probably say Nascar threw a reg flag so a team can fix a car without going a lap down. Good food for thought but I made my verdict. Good question.

  6. For everyone involved--except the person that caused it.

  7. Remember when Sterling Marlin lost the Daytona 500 because he hopped out of his car and pulled on the side of his bumper during a red flag?  That was priceless!  Anyone have a photo of that?

  8. WOO! THAT WOULD BE COOL!

  9. Odds are if you are working on the car, you've been in a wreck and won't run that well anyway and you've probably already gone a bunch of laps down, too. It would have to be some kind of conditional red flag. Some red flags last 5 minutes, others last 20 minutes. Overall, I think it works well the way it is.

  10. No, I'd leave things like they are.  The rule was made for a reason, I'm sure.
